This mid-century sign for the Tap Room shows off its iconic design sporting a martini glass in neon complete with bubbles that still light up in an alternating pattern. I was inspired by not only the shapes but the reflections and shadows across the surface, parts of it seem abstract. I decided to loosen up a bit on this painting, creating some under painting that I allowed to peek through in some places. Located in Ypsilanti, MI in the very center of downtown, you can't miss it!
