I feel like I hit the jackpot in finding this sign and visiting in person. The Pearl Restaurant has been closed for a long time, but it's iconic signage still remains, complete with graffiti all over the plexiglas protection and decorated with plastic Marti Gras beads. I wanted the blue to practically glow, so I used a combination of ultramarine blue and cobalt blue with six to eight layers in some places.
