Everything is really Okay at Kim’s Diner in Waco, TX. I heard from several sources of the diner, so I went there and had a homespun hand-dipped shake which was delicious. But the sign is so unique that I took many reference photos and arranged the composition for balance and rhythm.
Since everything is bigger in Texas, I focused on brighter and bold color, curves, and deep shadows. I really loved presenting a composition where the curves and contrast define the space.
