I was fascinated with the patina of the Bel Air motel signage in Austin, Texas. The white areas of what seemed to have been caulk or adhesive of the image I treated as if I were spreading it over the surface so it has dimension of thick paint and texture. The work can hang as is or be placed into a float frame where you can still see the sides of the wood board.
