Description/Story: This painting is part of a series of paintings of an abandoned building in Cleveland. The view looking between the building facade and the columns shows the weathering on posters plastered on over the years. I felt it had an interesting set of textures. In fact, parts of the painting have minor collage pieces adhered to the surface.
The work was shown with others in Dillard's Coffeehouse in Grand Rapids quite a few years ago and sold along with several other works to an architect for a building lobby.
