Description/Story: This work drawn in charcoal on Rives Bright White Printmaking Paper is inspired from my days living in the Ann Arbor area. The arcade connected two parallel streets and lead to the University of Michigan campus. I loved the light coming in from the glass roof, and although it was fairly narrow, it was two stories high. Charcoal is one of my favorite mediums to work with. It allows for more expression and less precision in the work. This drawing went to a collector in Michigan, but prints are available.
