Description/Story: Funny story, during the COVID lock down, shots were just starting to become available. We could not get anyone to call us back to even set an appointment in our area. We heard of the nearest place to get shots was a pharmacy three hours away. So we hopped in the car. During our trips back and forth, there was an old abandoned motel. It was so ugly, that I found it to have a lot of character. I'm always trying to find interesting places that have fallen out of use. Wanting to set some context, I've painted in a vintage green ceramic dog from mid-century pop culture. It must have been left behind, a last reminder that someone was there.
