About Giclée

Our printer’s definition of digital pigment printmaking (giclée): The use of professional grade large format printers with pigment inks and archival acid free canvas and papers.

The Giclée process uses non-fading archival quality inks to print onto acid free, fine art paper. It offers a wider range of colors reproduced than offset lithographs due to the brilliance of the pigments used. Although it is not the same as the original, these prints are fine art quality reproductions estimated to last 60 years, plus an additional premier coating to add another 40 years.
