About The Artist

Ms. Tennant's art has been exhibited in shows across the Midwest and Southern United States. Her work is in private and corporate collections including Eastern Michigan University, and the Law Offices of Garan Lucow Miller. She has been a featured artist of the Ann Arbor Summer Festival and received critical attention in the Ann Arbor News. In 2002, she won "Best of Show" in the Scarab Club 60th Annual Watercolor Exhibition in Detroit and in 2006 received the "Founding Members Award" in the Michigan Water Color Society 59th Annual Exhibition.

Ms. Tennant received a Master of Fine Art degree in 1991 at Eastern Michigan University where she and Professor Emeritus Igor Beginin pioneered the watercolor exhibitions at the Eagle Crest Conference Center which continued for 19 years. She is also a founding member of the student organization Watercolorists at EMU, a continuing force in establishing future watercolor painters with professional experience.

Ms. Tennant is also an accomplished Graphics, Web, and Multimedia Designer. She has won a number of Awards for her publication design including the APEX (Award for Publishing Excellence) for six years running, and the American Graphic Design Award (GD USA) for three years running. She currently teaches the Web Graphics program at a technical college in Central Florida.

Ms. Tennant was born in Southeast Michigan and currently resides in Central Florida with her family.
